Growing an Audience Through a Targeted Keyword Strategy for Platform 9
Platform 9 is a private cloud solution whose industry is very competitive and hard to understand. The client was in the middle of launching a new site and needed to develop a targeted keyword strategy where they could drive new users and generate leads. They wanted to not only generate leads through their main top navigation, but also from their blog.
We did a combination of on-page and off-page SEO strategies. We created a highly targeted keyword map, used semantic search optimization tactics, internal linking as well as external linking strategies. We also researched and developed a content calendar that had a comprehensive content cluster strategy.
Organic is now Platform 9’s leading traffic generator online. This was not the case at the beginning of the year when Power Digital engaged on the SEO channel, but with careful execution of the strategy mentioned above, we have seen nearly 3x traffic growth through the organic channel and keyword ranking expansion since beginning of the year.
Platform9 more than tripled the keywords in positions 1-10 (page one) one from 15 to 53. Organic sessions have increased 231%, and new users have increased 227%. The assisted conversions from the organic channel have increased 30% since the launch of the new site. Additionally, we’ve seen the organic channel a great assisted touch in the funnel, as helps all other channels convert leads. In paid media efforts, we were able to decrease CPA Month over Month by $55 with a spend of 26% less while maintaining overall conversion volume.
