What do I get from your social media audit?

A review of your existing presence across every platform you are active on, covering content performance, audience health and growth, engagement practices, brand consistency, competitive position, and your existing asset inventory, plus a prioritized plan for what to change.

The most common finding is not that a brand is posting too little. It is that the posting is spread thinly across five platforms with no clear role for any of them. Consolidating onto the two or three that actually reach your buyers usually produces better results from the same effort, and the audit is where we work out which those are.

Which platforms do you manage, and how do you decide which ones we should prioritize?

TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, Threads, and X. If you are unsure where to start, prioritization comes out of the audit based on where your audience is, what content you can realistically sustain, and what each platform is capable of doing for your business.

Content sustainability is the constraint most brands underestimate. A platform that demands daily short-form video is a different commitment than one where two considered posts a week performs well, and committing to a cadence you cannot maintain is worse than not being there at all.

Do you handle community management and respond to comments and DMs?

Yes. That covers inbound comment and DM response, proactive outbound engagement, moderation on paid ad comments, and Reddit forum participation, which requires a different tone than branded channels and is easy to get wrong.

Response coverage and escalation are defined during onboarding. We agree what we can answer directly, what gets routed to your customer service team, and what gets escalated immediately, so a product complaint or a safety issue never sits waiting for a social response.

How do you measure organic social, and how does it connect to revenue?

We report across three categories: content performance, audience growth and health, and discoverability, with KPIs agreed with you at the outset rather than assumed. Platform-level metrics include engagement rate, saves and shares, reach, and profile visits, and we weight saves and shares heavily because they predict distribution better than likes do.

Connecting organic social to revenue requires accepting that it is mostly an assisting channel. Where we can, we track referral traffic, branded search lift, and audience overlap with converting customers. Where the honest answer is that a given metric cannot be tied cleanly to revenue, we say so rather than manufacture an attribution model that flatters the channel. Reporting feeds a monthly optimization cycle, not an annual review.

Who produces the content, and how much do we get each month?

Our in-house creative team produces it: static graphics, short-form video, motion, and platform-native formats built to your brand guidelines rather than adapted from a single asset.

Volume is scoped explicitly in your agreement so there is no ambiguity about what arrives each month. We would rather commit to a cadence we can sustain at quality than promise daily output that degrades by month three. If you have an internal content team or existing asset library, we build around what you have instead of duplicating it.

If we are already running paid social, do we need organic too?

They do different jobs and they make each other work better. Paid buys reach; organic earns trust and gives you somewhere credible to send the people paid reaches. A meaningful share of people who see your ad will check your profile before buying, and an abandoned feed undermines the ad they just clicked.

Organic also functions as a creative testing ground. Concepts that perform organically are the ones worth funding, which lowers the cost of finding winning creative for paid social. If budget forces a choice, we will tell you which to fund first based on your category and where your funnel is actually leaking.

How often will you post, and do we approve content before it goes live?

Cadence is set per platform based on what each rewards and what your content can sustain, and it is specified in your agreement rather than left open. Some platforms reward daily posting; others punish it.

On approvals, you have as much control as you want. Most clients settle into reviewing a monthly content calendar in advance and letting us execute against it, which keeps us responsive to trends without a two-day approval cycle on every post. Brands in regulated categories or with strict legal review typically approve post by post, and we build that into the production timeline rather than treating it as a delay.

What happens if we get a wave of negative comments or a social media crisis?

We agree an escalation protocol during onboarding, before you need it. That defines what our team responds to directly, what gets routed to you, what triggers an immediate call regardless of hour, and who has authority to pause scheduled content. Most brands discover they never established this at the exact moment they need it.

In an active situation, the first move is almost always to pause scheduled posts, because promotional content running alongside a complaint thread makes everything worse. From there we work with you on response, and where the situation extends beyond social, our public relations team is part of the same organization rather than a separate vendor you have to brief from scratch.

What industries and verticals do you work with?

We manage organic social across CPG, fashion and apparel, consumer services, healthcare, and B2B, each with a dedicated division.

Category shapes almost everything about an organic program. Regulated industries need content workflows with review built in and claims language that will not create exposure. B2B social works through people rather than logos, which means the strategy usually involves executive and employee presence, not just the brand account. Those are genuinely different disciplines.

How much does organic social media management cost?

Pricing is driven by scope: how many platforms, how much content, whether community management is included, and how much video production is involved. Video is usually the biggest cost variable, since a month of short-form video is a materially different production commitment than a month of static posts.

We scope after the audit so the number is tied to a specific content volume and platform set rather than a package. What we will not do is quote a low number by committing to a cadence we cannot sustain at quality, since that shows up in months three and four rather than month one.

How long before we see growth?

Content performance improves first, usually within the first month or two, because that is a function of what we post rather than accumulated audience. Follower growth and community engagement compound more slowly, and any agency promising rapid follower growth is describing an outcome that is either purchased or irrelevant.

The more useful early signal is whether the right people are engaging. Ten thousand followers who will never buy is worse than five hundred who will, so we report audience quality alongside audience size from the start.

Do you work with creators and UGC for organic content?

Yes. Creator content frequently outperforms brand-produced content on organic feeds because it looks native rather than advertised, and it gives you volume that is difficult to produce in-house at the same cost. Our influencer marketing team handles sourcing, contracting, and usage rights.

We secure rights with paid amplification in mind from the start. Content that performs organically is the content most worth putting budget behind, and negotiating usage after the fact is more expensive and sometimes impossible.

Can you work with our in-house social team?

Often. Common splits include your team owning community management and real-time posting while we handle strategy, content production, and reporting, or the reverse where your team produces and we provide strategic direction and analytics.

Social is one of the easier functions to split because the work naturally divides into planning, production, and publishing. What matters is deciding who owns tone and final approval, since two groups posting in slightly different voices is more noticeable on social than anywhere else.
