About W.A.V.E.S.
W.A.V.E.S. is a group of businesses and consultants uniting to support underserved businesses and empower growth and diversity within our community. Our goal is to level the playing field for all businesses using our talent, time, connections, and business playbook for success to fuel this growth. We recognize that not all entrepreneurs have had the same privilege when starting a business, which is why we are using our knowledge and skills to create change, starting in our own backyard.
Our Mission
To empower business growth through our platform, talent, and connections to support business owners and entrepreneurs with diverse backgrounds achieve their dreams.
We are launching W.A.V.E.S. in support of Black Lives Matter and offering pro bono services to uplift the BIPOC community and BIPOC business owners in San Diego, so we can help create more job opportunities for BIPOC and expand the number of Black-owned businesses in San Diego. Our vision is for W.A.V.E.S. to become an everlasting program providing resources, education, mentorship, and free services to Black-owned businesses extending beyond San Diego.

How W.A.V.E.S. Works with Businesses
W.A.V.E.S. will work with businesses to determine how we can use our team, talent, and resources to help propel growth based on their unique needs. This will be accomplished in two main stages:
Stage #1: Setting up for Success
- Developing frameworks within marketing, sales, and operations that have proven to be successful within our business and beyond
- Establishing processes for both internal and external operations to establish a strong company culture, leadership, and growth and development programs
- Teaching and mentoring to transfer our knowledge and business experience to propel job creation and sustainable growth
