Social Media Account Manager

Requirements:

Social Media Experience

  • 3+ years of social media experience working with multiple clients across multiple social channels (Including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Youtube, Google My Business)
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong copywriting and sales messaging skills
  • Advanced experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Adobe XD) or similar graphic design software
  • Video editing experience is a plus (Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects), but not mandatory
  • Strong desire to learn and contribute to an evolving department in San Diego’s second fastest growing company
  • Keen eye for cohesive branding and messaging
  • Comfortable sharing previous design examples

Account Management Experience

  • A highly organized professional with strong follow through in time management, prioritization, attention to detail and reliability
  • Excellent communication skills, relationship building skills, a true “people-person”
  • Experience managing a client account, both specific to social media, as well as a multi-channel client account
  • Experience and/or interest in managing an internal team of channel experts
  • Experience in analytical reporting (Google Analytics Certification is a plus)
  • Keen skill set for problem solving & strategy ideation and leadership

Job Description: 

  • Act as the main point of contact for your clients on behalf of the internal team of channel experts
  • Responsible for overseeing the implementation of each channel’s client deliverables
  • Responsible for scheduling and leading weekly/biweekly, as well as monthly reporting calls with clients
  • Fluent in cross-channel deliverables and tasks; have the ability to solve any potential problem within an account
  • Take advantage of industry best practices and emerging trends and platforms, write blogs and contribute to our thought leadership.
  • Proactively develop unique social strategies and manage campaigns from A to Z
  • Manage social media accounts including, but not limited to: daily community management, content creation, scheduling, budget management, and reporting
  • Strong ability to pick up on a social voice and hold meaningful conversations with unique audiences 
  • Write compelling and engaging post copy, captions, and account descriptions with flawless attention to detail 
  • Create unique social content using custom photography, videos, and social templates with a strong eye for design 
  • Manage multiple clients and effectively be the middleman between your clients and the rest of the company
