Video Producer/Editor

About the Role

Power Digital is looking for an experienced Video Producer/Editor to join the Creative Team. You must be eager to learn, challenge yourself on a daily basis, and contribute to the creative efforts of client campaigns. 

As the Video Producer/Editor, you will be responsible for the creative development of multimedia materials to support campaign initiatives. With a steady pulse on industry trends, the Video Producer/Editor’s primary focus is video content capture and creative production, working in collaboration with a team of fellow creatives to achieve client goals. This includes pre, during, and post production of video creative assets.  

We work across a wide variety of industries so the position requires you to think on your feet and be able to adapt to each client’s needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality video content and motion graphics 
  • Execute post-production deliverables and editing, including but not limited to, cutting and assembling raw footage, motion graphics, color correction, and audio adjustments 
  • Support and collaborate with the creative unit to ideate innovative campaign themes and concepts for clients
  • Work closely with the copywriter to craft compelling scripts
  • Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
  • Close the loop on assignments and notify team members when action items are complete
  • Maintain positive client relationships which contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company
  • Maintain a steady pulse on industry trends

Requirements & Core Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in creative producing high-quality video and visual media content
  • Video production and animation skills are required
  • Knowledge of contemporary cameras, equipment, file formats, codecs, motion graphics, 3D animation, and post-production workflow
  • Ability to create content and edit in both traditional and non-traditional formats (ie. iPhone)
  • A strong understanding of each stage of the production process, visual design, branding, and the digital landscape
  • Proficient at storyboarding, scripting, and concepting
  • Thorough with attention to detail on all tasks
  • Awareness of various social formats and aspect ratios
  • A strong vision for new ideas and the ability to repurpose existing ideas 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members
  • Application of marketing strategy to visual design
  • Experience with a wide range of media and graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro
  • Ability to multitask & be flexible in day-to-day tasks within an agency culture
